David Pastrnak scored a hat trick to reach the 60-goal mark, as the Bruins recorded their 63rd win of the season to set an NHL record in a 5-3 result over the Flyers on Sunday night at Wells Fargo Center.
The Flyers technically have the 14th overall pick in Friday’s first round of the NHL Draft. However, they will make the 13th selection. While it is not a Top 10 pick, a year of uncertainty, unpredictability and limited viewings of prospects could certainly leave some finds at the middle of the first round.
The Flyers got a third-period power play in a tie game with a chance to grab the lead. Instead, they gave it away, allowing a shorthanded goal to Brad Marchand that proved to be the game-winner in a 4-2 loss to the Bruins at Wells Fargo Center.
