Chester, PA: During the season, your going to find out what type of team you’re going to have and that is what we are going to see with the Philadelphia Union – especially after how the last game ended. The Union would do battle with the LA Galaxy from Subaru Park on Wednesday night. The Union came into the game off a draw to Columbus, while LA made their way to Chester off a bad loss to the Red Bulls.

Lineup:

How the game went:

In the first half, it was all the LA Galaxy, especially with the pressure they were putting on the Union, which resulted in two first-half goals scored by Diego Fagúndez and Mauricio Cuevas.

The Union would be down 2-0 at halftime and the crowd at Subaru Park would BOOOOOOO them off the field for how they looked.

So, going into the second half, what could the Union do to get back into the game after just a terrible half of soccer? They would come out and not waste any time, scoring two goals in two minutes to even things up at two.

The crowd at Subaru Park enjoyed every minute of the second half. The goals were by Tai Baribo and Nathan Harriel.

How the game got tied via Tai Baribo:

After getting the game tied at 2, could the Union finish the job and get the win?

They were able to with Tai Baribo scoring in stoppage time for the lead:

How it sounded inside Subaru Park:

Once the final whistle blew, this was the type of game that showed that, after you get off to a slow start and the fans booooo you off the field, you respond and grind your way back to win the game for a big three points and also defend the home field.
