Alex Tuch scored a hat trick to lift the Sabres to a 6-3 win over the Flyers at Wells Fargo Center on Saturday night.
The Flyers took a 4-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild to close out the 1-4-0 road trip, also knocking them out of playoff contention for the second straight season.
According to a report from Michael Russo of The Athletic, the Flyers will hire Minnesota Wild senior vice president of hockey operations Brent Flahr as their new assistant GM. The Flyers have not confirmed the hiring.
