Things are looking up for the Sixers’ big man
Following Sunday’s game, the Flyers were beginning an early offseason, having missed the playoffs for the third time in five seasons. In those five seasons there has been one constant: Claude Giroux has been the team’s captain. It looks like it’s time for that to change.
The time has come to look at the player every Eagles fan seems to covet: Dalvin Cook.
The Pacers used the Sixers as an example as to why they will be going to the playoffs.
Flyers GM Ron Hextall emphasized developing players and not relying on free agency or trading young assets to contend for the Stanley Cup. Now, that plan appears to be on the cusp of culminating over the next season or two. As The Who famously sang, “The kids are alright.”
