Streak Snapped, Penn defeats Princeton in Nail bitter at the Palestra
Philadelphia: There is something special when you face one of your long-time rivals & that is what we saw on Saturday as the Penn Quakers would do battle with the Princeton Tigers from the Palestra. Penn comes into the game with 10-10 & 3-4 in Ivy League, while Princeton would make their way to the Catheridla with a record of 8-14 & 4-3 in Ivy League. Princeton beat Penn earlier in the season & with that win, the Tigers would take the all-time series lead at 127-126. Penn would also be looking to end a 14-game losing streak, as their last win against Princeton was in 2018.
Lineup:

How the game went:
Princeton would start the game by scoring the first 5 points before Penn got on the board. The Quakers would make things challenging for the Tigers as they would have a couple of times gotten the lead down to 2, but the Quakers would not let it happen for the Tigers to take the lead. There would be a point where the Quakers would have a lead of 12 at 33-21 with 1:18 left. Penn would score to close out the 1st half on a basket from Dalton Scantlebury for the 35-25 lead into halftime. Basked off what we saw in the 1st half, Princeton would have to make some serious adjustments to get back into the game & if they want to keep control of the all time series lead.
The Quakers would pick up where they left off in the 1st half and got the lead up to 11 at 46-35 with 12:39 left & the crowd at the Palestra was sensing that is this the game that Penn would end the losing streak.
Princeton would keep this game close, and with thi 3 pointer, things would get very interesting
