The Phillies had the day off from spring training action today, but one of their minor league pitchers will have 50 more days off after being suspended 50 games for his second failed drug test.

Selected in the 12th round of the 2015 draft, Hunter went 3-3 with a 3.48 ERA in 33.2 innings with the Phillies short season affiliate in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He struck out 21 and walked 11. Hunter, 22, finished off the season strong with the Crosscutters, posting a 1.23 ERA over his last 10 appearances, spanning 14.2 innings.
