Phillies television broadcast team returns in 2016 with 145 games on Comcast SportsNet

The Phillies and Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia announced the 2016 Philadelphia Phillies broadcast schedule for television.  The games will appear over three NBC-owned stations: Comcast SportsNet, The Comcast Network, and NBC10. Fans will also see the familiar broadcast crew from 2015.

Comcast SportsNet released the details on CSN Philly:

A record 145 Phillies games will be televised on Comcast SportsNet in 2016, including the season opener on Monday, April 4 at 4 p.m. against the Reds.

Additionally, 10 games will air on NBC10, including the home opener on April 11 at 3 p.m. against the Padres.

The remaining seven games will be on The Comcast Network.

Comcast is owned by NBC Universal, thus making NBC10 the logical place to broadcast Phillies games on "free" television.

Further, the Phillies announced the return of their full broadcast team from 2015.  Tom McCarthy, Gregg Murphy, Ben Davis, Matt Stairs, and Mike Schmidt all will once again broadcast games.  Schmidt will continue to broadcast weekend games throughout the season.
