The Phillies have set a deadline to other teams for Cole Hamels offers and because of the rumors surrounding the ace, the team has announced that Cole's scheduled Thursday start will be pushed back until Friday…if he is still here, that is.

The Rangers, Dodgers, Cubs, Giants, Astros and Diamondbacks have all expressed interest in Cole Hamels over the past few days, with the Rangers currently viewed as the "favorite".

In other news, a deal to send Jonathan Papelbon to Washington D.C. is reportedly very close to being done.
