Darin Ruf Returns, John Mayberry Jr. Heads To Disabled List

The Phillies have not used John Mayberry Jr. too often in recent days. Perhaps it was for good reason: Mayberry has an injury. Thus, Mayberry will head to the disabled list, according to CSN Philly's Jim Salisbury:

Darin Ruf, who has been at AAA Lehigh Valley since his rehab assignment landed him there, will join the big club once again. Ruf spent just a few days on the major league roster so far this season. In 83 at bats at AAA Lehigh Valley, Ruf has hit .265 with one home run and 10 RBI. For the Phillies, Mayberry was hitting .213 with six home runs and 21 RBI before his injury.
