Hamels starts as Phils go for series win in Colorado

The Phillies' two-game winning streak was wiped away rather quickly and easily, as the Rockies rode a six-run first inning on Saturday to a 10-5 win. Gone too were the Phillies recent gains in the division from Friday's comeback win with the Nationals and Braves both pulling out late victories.

The Phillies (33-36) now must rebound as the Rockies (36-33) look to continue their strong season so far in the series finale at Coors Field on Sunday afternoon.

Cole Hamels (2-9, 4.45 ERA) gets the start for the Phillies. Hamels allowed two runs in six innings in his last start against the Twins, taking a no-decision in the Phillies' 3-2 loss. Hamels faced the Rockies three times in 2012, going 2-0 with a 1.96 ERA. In his career against the Rockies, Hamels is 3-1 with a 2.37 ERA. At Coors Field, he is 1-1 with a 5.09 ERA.

The Phillies will face right-hander Jhoulys Chacin (4-3, 4.52 ERA). Chacin allowed two runs in five innings in his last start, picking up the win against the Nationals. Chacin is 1-0 in his career against the Phillies with a 1.21 ERA. At Coors Field, he is 16-17 with a 4.40 ERA.
