I am not sure this is still called a "Stars and Stripes" hat. The Inquirer's Matt Gelb gave us a sneak peak of this year's caps for the holidays:

My thoughts: can't they wear a patch or something?
I am all for:
- Honoring troops
- Building national unity
- Raising money for soldiers
- Celebrating America
I am not for:
- Ugly caps because they have to come up with a different hat each year
- $36.99 hats where only a dollar goes to charity
