Phillies Are "In" On Michael Bourn

According to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com, the Phillies are among the teams interested in former Phillies centerfielder Michael Bourn.

Bourn was traded by the Phillies prior to the 2008 season to the Houston Astros as part of the package to acquire Brad Lidge. Lidge went on to have his "perfect season" and save 48 games in 48 chances en route to a Phillies World Series championship. I would say that is a fair deal.

Bourn remains close to Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins and enjoyed his time in Philadelphia.

Heyman notes that the Mariners are interested in Bourn (and any offensive player willing to play in Seattle, essentially). Read Heyman's piece here.
