This past weekend was an emotional one for Philadelphia sports fans. The Eagles lost on Sunday and the Sixers traded two fan favorites away on Saturday to acquire Jimmy Butler. The deal looks to be a good one for the Sixers, but fans grow attached to their players and it is safe to say that RoCo and Dario will be missed by most.
On Monday morning, Robert Covington took to Instagram to thank Philadelphia for four great years. Covington came out of the G League and developed into one of the league’s top defenders with the Sixers.
Covington and Saric will return to Philadelphia as members of the Timerwolves on January 15.
