The J.J Redick signing was super important for the Sixers, both on the court and off it.
The Sixers currently have the Nos. 36, 39, 46, and 50th overall selections in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Just because Fultz only won nine games with Washington doesn’t make him a “loser.”
In the latest edition of the 80-08 Philadelphia Phillies podcast, hosts discuss a report that suggests the Phillies could be interested in Giancarlo Stanton.

It really happened. It really, really happened. The Sixers pulled off a trade to move up and get the perfect fit next to Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid and completing one of the best young trios the NBA has ever seen. First off, kudos to Bryan Colangelo for correctly analyzing this and not settling on an okay fit at three. He knew he needed the perfect fit and he went out and got it. But also, a lot of credit has to go to Sam Hinkie.
Day two of the MLB Draft is complete and the Phillies once again are taking the approach of adding as many college players as possible.
After deviating from the college ranks for one pick, the Phillies dipped back into the collegiate pool and selected Florida shortstop Dalton Guthrie in the sixth round.
Guthrie’s stash line certainly doesn’t jump off the page at you as he hit .262 this year with a .342 OBP, four home runs and ten stolen bases. He’s supposedly a great defender for a college shortstop but may lack the arm strength and size to really stick there moving forward. Jonathan Mayo suggested that he may move to second base, while others think his ceiling is a utility infielder that can play anywhere in the field.
