The current statistics don’t tell the entire story with Carson Wentz. Yes, the rookie quarterback has had his expected ups and down this season. But in last Sunday’s game against the Redskins, he put together one of his best performances of the season. The great effort didn’t equate in a win, but it should remind doubters that the North Dakota State product remains the franchise quarterback for years to come.
By Patrick Del Gaone, Sports Talk Philly staff writer After scoring ten offensive touchdowns in three victories to begin the year, the Eagles' offense hit a road block it has yet to surmount. In the ten games since, Frank Reich's unit has accumulated only 15 touchdowns, as the faltering team posted a dreadful 2-8 record during […]
All three of the Eagles most glaring needs were on full display on Sunday. They still lack weapons at wide receiver. They still don’t have a shutdown cornerback and desperately need players at the position. And most of all, they lacked depth on the offensive line.

Philadelphia Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery to repair an injured wrist.

The Eagles took a one-point lead in the middle of the fourth quarter, but a late touchdown by the Redskins put them on top inside the two-minute warning. The Eagles managed to get the ball deep into Washington territory, but a sack and fumble on Carson Wentz created the turnover that ended the game, with the Eagles dropping their fourth straight, 27-22, to the Redskins at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.
