The Bruins’ talent became too much to overcome, as the Flyers dropped their fifth straight game, 4-1, to the Bruins on Thursday night.

The Flyers enter Thursday’s game in a four-game losing streak though, and now get the test of facing the NHL’s best team in the standings. The Boston Bruins come in with a 14-2-0 record and wins in four straight games.

A pair of comeback attempts were not completed, as the Columbus Blue Jackets scored on a 3-on-1 in overtime to hand the Flyers a 5-4 loss on Tuesday night.

The Flyers are back on the road and back in Columbus looking to stop the bleeding, this time to start a three-game road trip on Tuesday night against the Blue Jackets.
