With training camp just one week away, the guys preview the Flyers training camp roster, position battles to come in camp and make predictions on the Flyers opening night lineup.

The Flyers announced the dates and roster for training camp, set to open next Friday, Sept. 15. In total, 61 players will participate in training camp — 37 forwards, 17 defensemen and seven goaltenders.

The start of Flyers training camp, which for Nolan Patrick begins with rookie camp on Monday, provides the chance for him to prove himself and see what he can do.

Flyers captain Claude Giroux responded to Jeremy Roenick’s offseason comments regarding his struggles and decline and the response was mainly in agreement.
