Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman will have a bit more money to play with heading into NFL free agency in a few weeks.

According to reports, the salary cap for the 2025-26 NFL seasons is set to jump between $22.1 to $26.1 million. While the official number hasn’t been announced, the NFL salary cap will land around $277.5 to $281.5 million.

So, what does this mean for the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles?

The industry leading contract site Spotrac has the Eagles with right under $8 million in cap space heading into the 2025 NFL season. That number could balloon to nearly $20 million with additional monies coming off the books and that’s not factoring in any additional moves or trades. With additional moves and the increased cap number, Roseman could have upwards of $30 million to play with in 2025.

It might be time to rethink all of that talk about not being able to sign this guy or that guy during free agency.
