Acaden Lewis heats up in 2nd half as Villanova takes down Old Dominion
Radnor, PA: As the entire nation prepares for the Thanksgiving holiday, college basketball continues. On Tuesday night, we had an interesting battle as the Villanova Wildcats took on Old Dominion Monarchs from Finneran Pavilion. Villanova comes into the game on a 4-game winning streak after a win over LaSalle, while Old Dominion comes into the game 3-4 & off a loss to Drexel.
Villanova forward Duke Brennan would be out for the game with a sprained right ankle that happened in their win over LaSalle last week.

How the game went:
Old Dominion would score the game’s first 6 points before Villanova responded with a 5-0 run. The Wildcats took their first lead at 10-8 on a basket from Zion Stanford. Defense would be the story early on in the 1st half as Villanova took a 16-15 lead. There would be a stretch where both Villanova & Old Dominion would have made 6 three pointers between the two teams. Villanova would take a 28-25 lead with 5:46 left in 1st half. The 3 pointers would be falling for both teams. Villanova would take a 40-36 lead into halftime; neither team would have a lead higher than 6. Going into the 2nd half, could see some of the defensive battle we had. Villanova would begin the 2nd half with a 7-0 run for a 47-36 lead.
