Alex Bump leads Phantoms to Win over Penguins in Game 1 of Best of 3

The AHL Playoffs have arrived & the Philadelphia Flyers affiliates, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, are ready to make noise as they take on their rivals, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the 1st round, which is a Best of 3. Game 1 on Wednesday night from Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza.

One of the players on the Phantoms roster that is getting a lot of attention is Alex Bump, who the Flyers drafted in 2022 & recently won the 2025 NCAA Championship with Western Michigan

 

 

Bump would sign his entry-level deal  with the Flyers on April 15

 

Bump would make an immediate impact with the Phantoms by scoring 2 goals in his AHL Playoffs debut & giving a lot of Flyers fans excitement for the future of the team

How Bump scored his 2 goals.

His 1st AHL Playoff goal would come in the second period, which made it 2-0

The Phantoms would take apart the Penguins 5-2 & the Phantoms can finish off the Penguins on Friday night in Game 2 in front of the Home fans at PPL Center at 7 PM.
