A minor scare out of Spring Training today. In the sixth inning of the Phillies-Astros game in Kissimmie, Florida, fomer Phillies prospect Jared Cosart hit Phillies left fielder Darin Ruf with a pitch. Ruf had to leave the game.
UPDATE: Ruf is icing it and should be okay, courtesy of MLB.com's Todd Zolecki.
Darin Ruf got hit with a pitch and left game. He said he got hit on left triceps. Said he's icing it and feels fine.
