Benjamin Albright, who is also stationed out of Denver, speculated that Sanchez could be involved in a deal to acquire Colin Kaepernick from the 49ers and reunite Chip Kelly with one of his former quarterbacks from Philadelphia.

By trading Sanchez instead of cutting him, the Eagles will create $4.5 million in cap space compared to $3.5 million. (h/t to Jeff McLane for the cap information)
#Eagles clear $4.5M from cap. Would have been $3.5M if released. Pretty impressive considering no way he was back. https://t.co/Hgy6OB044z
