Flyers vs. Lightning Preview: Back on the Road

After seven games at home, the Flyers hit the road for the next five games. The schedule does not get any easier.

The first opponent of the road trip is one of the teams the Flyers faced during the homestand, and the only one they defeated. The Tampa Bay Lightning continue their own playoff push.

Owen Tippett is one of the Flyers that the team is looking to see provide more production. He has one goal in the last eight games.

Brandon Hagel enters Monday’s game with a three-game points streak and points in four of the last five games. He snapped a six-game goalless drought on Saturday.

Ivan Fedotov gets the start for the Flyers. Fedotov allowed four goals on 23 shots in a loss to Ottawa in his last start on Tuesday. Fedotov’s first NHL win came on Nov. 7 in Tampa, making 22 saves on 23 shots in a shootout win.

Andrei Vasilevskiy gets the start for the Lightning. Vasilevskiy made 10 saves on 12 shots in a win over Boston in his last start on Saturday. He had lost three of his previous four starts after a personal eight-game winning streak.
