Let's make this short and sweet.

The Phillies (57-34) took two of three from Atlanta in the series go into the All-Star Break 3 1/2 games ahead of the Braves (54-38) and own the best record in baseball.

Cole Hamels (11-4) allowed 1 run on three hits, striking out six and walking two in eight strong innings.

Meanwhile, Phillies scored four runs with 10 hits in six innings off Atlanta starter Lowe, however, then pounded on the Braves bullpen in the seventh for six runs and eighth inning for four runs. The Phillies offense pounded out 20 hits-a season high and 14 runs-tying a season high earlier in the season.

Wanna know how we got those 20 hits!! Well here you go!!!

Jimmy Rollins went 3 for 4 with an RBI.

Michael Martinez went 4 for 5 with two runs, while raising his batting average from .189 to .230; it's higher than Jayson Werth's BA. (career-high 4 hits)

Chase Utley went 2 for 5 with two runs.

Ryan Howard went 2 for 4 with an RBI.

Raul Ibanez went 2 for 5 with a homer with six RBIs.

Carlos Ruiz went 1 for 4 with a double and two runs.

Domonic Brown went 3 for 5 with two RBIs.

John Mayberry went 3 for 5 with three doubles with four RBIs. (career-high doubles with 3)

As for the defensive side: Michael Martinez made a catch over the dugout rail in the third and Ibanez also added a terrific leaping grab of a Brandon Hicks blast at the left-field wall in the eighth.

Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Michael Martinez tumbles over the rail after catching a pop foul by Atlanta Braves' Freddie Freeman in the third inning of a baseball game Sunday, July 10, 2011, in Philadelphia.                                                                                                    (Daylife.com)
