Indiana takes down Penn State in Big Ten Play at the Palestra
Philadelphia: There is a certain feel when your city gets to have a big-time game & that is what we had on Sunday afternoon as the Penn State Nittany Lions took on Indiana Hoosiers from the Cathedral of College Basketball the Palestra on the campus of the University of Penn. The Nittany Lions come into game with 12-2 record and off a win over Northwestern while the Hoosiers made their way to Philly with 11-3 record and off a win over Rutgers

Going into this game was what type of crowd would come out and there were a good amount of Indiana fans who made the trip to Philly but it was a Pro Penn State Crowd as there is a huge Penn State Alumni in Philadelphia:

How the game went:
In the 1st half, The Nittany Lions would make their first three shots of the game before Indiana could even respond & then the Hoosiers would get things figured out and start to make things look hard for the Nittany Lions.
The Ball movement from the Nittany Lions was good, especially on this play from Baldwin to Kern

The game would be tied at 29 going into halftime & if you liked good defense and good crowd environment you were in for something good in the second half.
Going into the second half, what could either Penn State or Indiana do to take control of the game the answer would be Indiana would go on 8-0 run to start the 2nd half for a 37-29 lead, There would be a scary moment as Penn State Puff Johnson whacked his head & was able to return to the game a few minutes later.
at one point, The Hooiser would get the lead as high as 15 at 58-43 with 11:34 left, Could the Nittany Lions make a run to keep the Crowd at the Palestra involved & They would get it down to 4 & for those wondering how loud it was in the Palestra, this explains how loud it got

Could the Hoosier respond and the answer would be YES and made some big 3-pointers down the stretch & made some good passes including this one that would make it hard for the Nittany Lions to get back into the game

A Crowd of 6,126 would see a very entertaining Big Ten game as Indiana would come into a tough road environment and pick up a big win as they take down the Nittany Lions 77-71. Overall this was great that the Nittany Lions moved a Big Ten game from the Bryce Jordan Center down to Philadelphia for their fans to see and help with the recruiting as well.
