Joel Embiid to represent Sixers at 2017 NBA Draft Lottery
By Josh Liddick, Sports Talk Philly editor
When the NBA Draft Lottery takes place one week from today, the Philadelphia 76ers have their representative: Joel Embiid.
The 23 year-old star center will be the team's representative when the Sixers get their draft pick next Tuesday.
Players and coaches usually represent teams when they are chosen, Brett Brown was the Sixers' representative for last year's lottery, Nerlens Noel was the year prior.

The Sixers are currently in the 4th-place picture for the NBA Draft this season purely based off of record, but anything is possible with the lottery.
The Sixers also have the possibility of getting the Lakers' draft pick if they fall out of the top 3. The Kings also have a chance to jump the Sixers, meaning the team's would swap picks.
Whatever goes down next Tuesday night, Joel Embiid is going to have one heck of a time. There really isn't a better player to represent the Sixers than the Process himself.
If Brett Brown can lock down the No. 1 draft pick, why can't the face of the franchise?
