Six Eagles Among Pro Football Focus All-Pro Teams

The Eagles are onto the playoff and, with the regular season done, awards have started to roll in.
That was the case with the Pro Football Focus All-Pro Teams, which had six Eagles named. Two were named to the first team and four to the second team.
Jordan Mailata was first and foremost, of course, seeing as he was their highest graded OL in the sport for most of the year it’s no surprise he was named the first-team left tackle. For Mailata, it’s his third appearance on the PFF All-Pro team after being named second team in both 2021 and 2023.

On the defensive side, the other first-team Eagle is Zack Baun. Baun has played a critical role for the Eagles after being signed in an unheralded move during free agency.
It’s no surprise that the former rotational player doesn’t have any other All-Pro appearances, but he’s been one of the league’s top linebackers in Fangio’s defense and should have a case for DPOY.
On second team, the Eagles had a pair of skill players in Saquon Barkley and AJ Brown. Barkley was behind Derrick Henry in the running back selection.
Brown has been a second-team selection by PFF three other times in his career and a second-team selection by the AP twice. For Saquon, it’s just his second appearance on the PFF All-Pro team (he was first team in 2018).
Lane Johnson also finds himself on the second team, marking his fifth selection to the team as he’d previously been named to the first team and second team twice apiece. Johnson has also appeared on the AP All-Pro teams for times previously.
Finally, rookie corner Cooper DeJean was named a second-team selection for the flex spot.
DeJean joined the starters few weeks into the season following an offseason injury and solidified the defense that turned into the league’s top-rated unit.
DeJean was selected in the flex spot for the defense.
