Flyers Maple Leafs

A long road trip for the Flyers will finally come to close on Sunday night. A span of six games have kept the Flyers away from home for over two weeks.

While the road trip was separated by the holiday break, allowing the Flyers to have some time at home, they have been on the road since last Friday for their post-holiday five-game trip. It ends on Sunday night as the Flyers take on the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first game of a home-and-home.

Game time is 7 p.m.

Flyers Maple Leafs Players to Watch

Bobby Brink has gone 15 straight games without a goal, but has been picking up plenty of assists lately. Brink has six assists in the last seven games and eight assists since his last goal on Nov. 29.

Mitch Marner continued his excellent season on Saturday night with a five-point game against Boston, including four assists. That was quite the follow-up after having a nine-game points streak snapped in his previous game on Thursday. With points in 10 of his last 11 games, Marner has four goals and 14 assists in that time.

Flyers Maple Leafs Goalie Matchup

Ivan Fedotov gets the start for the Flyers. Fedotov makes his first start since Dec. 5, where he allowed two goals on seven shots in the first period before being pulled. Fedotov had won four of his prior six starts.

Dennis Hildeby is expected to get the start for the Maple Leafs. Hildeby makes his fourth start of the season, and just his second since Oct. 22. He made 24 saves on 27 shots in a win over Buffalo on Dec. 15 in his last start.
