Phillies Game Postponed on August 14, 2011

Thank you to @magelb for posting this photo of Halladay (left) and Kendrick (right) throwing in the outfield during this crazy weather.

The Phillies and the Nationals decided to postpone the final game of their three-game series.

The game will be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader on Sept. 20 beginning at 1:05 p.m. The second game will start at its regularly scheduled time at 7:05 p.m. All tickets for Sunday's game will be honored for the 1:05 game Sept. 20.

The Phillies starting pitchers have been pushed back a day. Roy Halladay, who was scheduled to pitch Sunday, will now start Tuesday's game against Arizona. Cliff Lee will get the ball Wednesday. You get the point.

Also, the unveiling ceremony for the Harry Kalas statue, which was slated for Sunday, has been postponed until Tuesday at 6:40 p.m according to the Phillies officials.

Enjoy the two days off without seeing a Phillies game. In the meantime, maybe watch another game?
