Phillies Invite Andres Blanco to Clearwater

Chris Branch I believe had it first but the Phillies have invited infielder Andres Blanco to spring training. Blanco was in the Phillies system in 2012 playing the entire season in Lehigh Valley before being released early into spring training last season as Yuniesky Betancourt was making a strong case to be an extra infielder on the big club at the time. Blanco did not play professional ball after that but will get another shot this winter against newly signed Reid Brignac.
