The Phillies were one of five teams who worked out free agent pitcher Mark Mulder. Mulder worked out for teams and impressed the Phillies and other teams with a new arm delivery and by throwing as much as 92 miles per hour. However, Mulder will headed elsewhere.
Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com reports that Mulder has agreed to terms with the Angels:
Mark Mulder has agreed to minor league deal with #angels with big league invite. Story to come on ESPN.com.

Some speculated that Mulder wanted a major league deal, but that was always a stretch, since Mulder has not pitched since 2008.
