Phillies vs. Pirates: What to Know
The Philadelphia Phillies (37-25) enter Friday’s three-game set against the Pirates reeling from a series loss in Toronto. After exploding for eight runs on Tuesday, the Phillies were outscored 11-2 by the Blue Jays over the final two games of the series. Things could get worse for the Phillies on Friday when they start reliver Joe Ross in a designated bullpen game.
