Report: Sixers lose Bjelica to Euroleague

The Philadelphia 76ers reportedly agreed to a contract for the room mid-level exception with forward Nemanja Bjelica back on July 5, but hadn't officially signed with the team. According to Nikos Varlas of Eurohoops.net, Euroleague teams believed Bjelica could be lured overseas, and that report was confirmed by Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed the report.

Last season for Minnesota, Bjelica averaged 6.8 points and 4.1 rebounds and hit 41.5 percent of his shots from beyond the arc, shooting 46.1 percent overall from the floor.

The Sixers will likely have to dip back into free agency to get a better back-up for Dario Saric. That being said, Jonah Bolden could find a path to more playing time at the four this upcoming season with Bjelica reportedly overseas.
