By: Jesse Larch, Sports Talk Philly editor Report: Nigel Bradham has firearms misdemeanor dropped

When Nigel Bradham came to the Eagles he found himself him in hot water after a battery charge and an unrelated incident where he was caught with a loaded gun in Miami airport.

The latter of those two incidents involving the Eagles linebacker has reportedly been resolved.

According to TMZ, a 2nd-degree misdemeanor charge has been dropped. Bradham was presented with the charge after his backpack was scanned by security and the firearm was found.

Bradham claimed that that backpack was one that he rarely used and simply forgot that the gun was inside of it.

Bradham did have a valid permit for the firearm. Bradham's attorney Adam Swickle said that "the state had no case against him and they found that it wasn’t something he should be criminally sanctioned for."

Bradham will be able to enter tonight's tilt against the Washington Redskins with a clear mind.
