Roy Halladay Leaves Phillies – Orioles Matchup After One Inning

With there already mass panic over Roy Halladay's reduced velocity, Phillies fans got another scare today.  After a first inning in which Halladay allowed one walk, Halladay did not return to the mound for inning two.  Zach Miner replaced Halladay on the mound.

Luckily for Phillies fans, it was just a stomach virus:

 

 

In what we saw, some of Halladay's velocity seemed to be back.   He will not be the old Roy Halladay but still possesses the tools to be a valuable part of the Phillies staff.  Before any conspiracy theorists out there think that this is a cover-up, know that Jonathan Papelbon is also ill.
