Darren Sproles added another Player of the Week honor to his resume Wednesday as he was chosen as the NFC's Special Teams Player of the Week for his 89-yard punt return touchdown against the Jets.

The 5'6", 190-pound running back broke tackle after tackle en route to the sixth punt return touchdown of his career and his third in an Eagles uniform. The score and extra point gave the Eagles a 10-0 lead early in the second quarter.

Sproles is no stranger to winning Player of the Week. Wednesday's selection is the fifth time he's earned the honor (four times for special teams) and the fourth time he has as a member of the Eagles.

Since Sproles has joined the Eagles, the only player to earn more Player of the Week honors is two-time NFL MVP, Aaron Rodgers
