The season series between the Flyers and Blackhawks will wrap on Thursday night as the Flyers look to build on Monday’s win.
After a fairly sloppy and wide-open first period against the Blackhawks, the Flyers started to tighten things up in the second and third periods, playing a solid all-around game. It’s only the first step to having a better start than in years past, but very early on you saw the potential the Flyers have to offer.
Travis Konecny scored twice as the Flyers opened the 2019-20 season with a 4-3 win over the Chicago Blackhawks from O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic.
