The Phillies head to the 2019 MLB Winter Meetings looking to solve their infield puzzle
According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the Phillies are quietly planning to pursue third baseman Anthony Rendon.
As they have done quite a bit this season, the Phillies followed a devastating loss with a gutsy win, rallying to take the lead in the bottom of the fifth and pulling ahead for good in the seventh to claim an 8-6 win over the Nationals at Citizens Bank Park.
