The Flames set the tone early with a goal just 1:35 into the game, and the Flyers struggled to generate chances, behind held to their lowest production and shot total of the season in a 3-1 loss to the Flames.
The Flyers Western Canada road trip takes them to Calgary now, where they will start their first back-to-back of the season against the Flames on Tuesday night.
Overtime has not been kind to the Flyers this season, and that run continued as T.J. Brodie scored at 1:59 of overtime to hand the Flyers their sixth straight loss, 3-2, on Saturday afternoon at Wells Fargo Center.
