Flyers Acquire G Dustin Tokarski from Ducks

The Flyers acquired goalie Dustin Tokarski from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for future considerations. Tokarski has been assigned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. In addition, the Phantoms traded goalie Leland Irving to the San Diego Gulls for future considerations.

Simmonds Strikes Again for OT Winner in Flyers Win Over Ducks

The Flyers were controlling another third period in Anaheim on Saturday, but couldn’t score, forcing overtime. Less than a minute into the extra session, it was Wayne Simmonds playing hero again, scoring the game-winning goal to give the Flyers a 3-2 win over the Ducks.
