The Flyers face off against the Minnesota Wild, currently tied for the Central Division lead, on Thursday night as the season winds down.

The Flyers got the game tied again with 5:44 remaining, forcing overtime and the eventual shootout, where the Flyers claimed a 5-4 win over the Wild on Thursday night at Wells Fargo Center.

After tying the game in the final two minutes, Mats Zuccarello was the hero for the Minnesota Wild, as the Flyers fell, 3-2, in overtime.

While the road to the playoffs is certainly more manageable for the Wild than the Flyers at this point, both teams are somewhere in the middle of the standings.

The Flyers took a 4-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild to close out the 1-4-0 road trip, also knocking them out of playoff contention for the second straight season.

The Flyers face the Minnesota Wild, who come in on a six-game winning streak. The Flyers, meanwhile, have losses in three of the four games on the road trip.
