The Philadelphia Phillies scored three runs in the 7th inning and one run in the 8th inning to defeat the New York Mets 4-1 on Saturday night at Citi Field.

The Phillies (10-11) will look to get their first hit of the series on Saturday night against the New York Mets (15-6) at Citi Field. The Mets used five pitchers to no-hit the Phillies on their way to a 3-0 win on Friday.
The Phillies (10-10) completed a four-game sweep of Colorado on Thursday in South Philadelphia, breaking out of an offensive funk in the process. The win pushed the Phillies back the .500 mark with a 10-10 record. Now their attention returns to the NL East.
The Phillies and the first place New York Mets (14-6) open a three-game set in Queens, NYC on Friday night.
Milwaukee designated hitter Christian Yellich hates the Phillie Phanatic. Yellich’s 9th inning sacrifice fly was the only run either team would score on Sunday night, as Milwaukee defeated Phillies 1-0 to spoil the Phanatic’s birthday. The loss moves the Phillies record to 6-10 on the season.
A controversial no call in the 7th inning, followed by C.J. Cron’s three-run homerun propelled the Rockies to a 6-5 come from behind win over the Phillies on Tuesday night in Denver. The loss is the Phillies third in a row and their 14th in the last 19. Both teams will meet at 3:10 PM/Eastern on Wednesday in the finale of the series.
Colorado used a two-run 6th and a two-run 7th and lights out pitching from Chad Kuhl and their bullpen to down the Phillies 4-1 in the series opener on Monday Night. Aaron Nola didn’t pitch poorly but was once again on the losing end for the Phillies. With the loss, the Phillies fall to 4-7 on the season.
The Philadelphia Phillies (4-6, 4th NL East) will look to put another disappointing series in the rear-view mirror when they travel to Denver to take on the Colorado Rockies (6-3, 3rd NL West) for three games.
The Marlins embarrassed the Phillies on Sunday in South Florida. The Fish scored 7-runs off of Phillies starter Zack Wheeler on their way to a 9-2 win. The Phillies now have a 7-14 record at loanDepot Park dating back to the beginning of the 2020 season.
The Phillies offense woke up on Saturday night powering the Fightin’s to a 10-2 win over the Marlins. The win snaps the Phillies four game losing streak and brings their record back to .500.
