  View image | gettyimages.com The Philadelphia Flyers had a chance to end their eight game road trip with a winning record. Jaromir Jagr notched a hat trick, Scott Gomez and Patrick Elias also scored and the Flyers lost to the Devils 5-2 on Saturday night.

After starting their current eight game road trip with three straight wins, the Philadelphia Flyers (14-17-7) have lost three of the last four in regulation. They will look to end the road trip with a win as they battle the New Jersey Devils (13-20-7) in Newark tonight. Game time is 7:00.

  View image | gettyimages.com The New Jersey announced the firing of head coach Pete DeBoer. Deboer had been the bench boss for the Devils since July of 2011. Lou Lamoriello annouced the firing on the 26th. No new coach will be hired until after the season.
