But there was also a dose of reality that hit the Flyers in regards to what is plaguing the sports world across the nation.

The Flyers pounded the Devils with two goals in the first and three more in the second, including a hat trick from Cam Atkinson, on their way to a 6-1 win at Wells Fargo Center.

The Devils are back on the schedule for the Flyers on Tuesday night, closing out the three-game season series, this time trying to pick up a third-straight win.
