Flyers forward Joel Farabee has been suspended for three games for a late hit on Winnipeg’s Mathieu Perreault in Sunday’s loss to the Jets.

Teams go through a lot of the same things — notably injuries — and find ways to overcome them and be successful. At the end of the day, this is just three games on an 82-game schedule. Three games do not wipe out what the Flyers had done over the previous 20.

With four goals in 4:17, a 2-1 deficit turned into a 6-1 shellacking and the Flyers ended a three-game road trip with a 7-3 loss to the Winnipeg Jets.

Following a 4-1 loss to Minnesota, the team’s first set of back-to-back regulation losses since Oct. 27 and 29, the Flyers have to get right back on the ice on Sunday to finish up a three-game road trip. They take on the Winnipeg Jets.

An early goal was not nearly enough to jumpstart the Flyers, who quickly fell behind and never recovered in a 4-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Saturday night.

With Oskar Lindblom certainly on their minds, the Flyers will get back on the ice for the first time since a 3-1 loss in Colorado, looking to get back to the win column. They take on the Minnesota Wild, a team that has been very good on home ice to the tune of an 8-1-3 record this season.

Nothing changes for Oskar Lindblom on his new journey following a diagnosis of Ewing’s sarcoma. He’s already had to fight to make it to the NHL and done so with a worker’s attitude and drive to succeed. Without a doubt, his new journey and fight to beat this disease is one he’s ready to face too.

Flyers forward Oskar Lindblom has been diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a form of bone cancer, and is not expected to return to play for the remainder of the 2019-20 season.
