Around the NHL: Franson, Santorelli to Nashville, Montador

  View image | gettyimages.com Getting a jump on the NHL trade deadline, the Nashville Predators have acquired Cody Franson and Mike Santorelli from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Nashville sent veteran forward Olli Jokinen, prospect Brendan Leipsic, and a 2015 first round pick to the Leafs.

Flyers down Toronto for fourth straight win

Michael Del Zotto scored his fifth of the season. The Flyers killed a late penalty in the third. Steve Mason made 30 saves and the Flyers won their fourth consecutive game as they defeated the Toronto  Maple Leafs 1-0 Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center.

Game 50 Preview: Flyers look to make it four in row as they battle Maple Leafs

The Philadelphia Flyers (21-22-7) look to win their fourth straight game and get back to .500 on the season as they play host to the Toronto Maple Leafs (22-24-4) tonight at the Wells Fargo Center. This is the second of three meetings between the two clubs and the lone game in Philadelphia. Game time is 7:00.

Flyers overcome early deficit, hammer Leafs.

  View image | gettyimages.com Toronto scored two early goals. The Couturier line got them back in it. From there, it was the Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek show.  The Flyers would score five straight goals after falling behind 3-2 and Philadelphia blasted Toronto 7-4 Saturday night in Toronto.
