The Flyers host the annual Black Friday game and get a test against the Metropolitan Division leading New York Rangers.

With less than 48 hours until the NHL trade deadline, the Flyers play their final game prior against the New York Rangers on Wednesday night.

Kevin Hayes will once again be out for Saturday’s game, as the team’s top point producer will be a healthy scratch. The Flyers return home to take on the New York Rangers.

As the Flyers kick off November, they will face a team with arguably the best goaltender in the league. The Flyers meet the New York Rangers on Tuesday night to open a three-game road trip.

As has happened many times before, the Carolina Hurricanes got the last laugh, as Jordan Martinook scored on a deflection with 3:50 remaining in the third for the game-winning goal in a 3-1 loss for the Flyers on Saturday afternoon.

The road doesn’t get any easier as the Flyers face another team ranked in the top three in the league. The Carolina Hurricanes await for a Saturday afternoon matinee.

After scoring with under five minutes to play to tie the game, Brett Pesce got the game-winning goal with 18 seconds left in overtime to hand the Flyers a fifth straight loss, 4-3, at Wells Fargo Center.

It hasn’t been an easy schedule for the Flyers, having to go up against three of the top four teams in the Metropolitan Division in consecutive games. They will do so for the third and final time against the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday afternoon.

Following an off day on Thanksgiving, the Flyers return to the ice to face the top team in the NHL, the Carolina Hurricanes, in the annual Black Friday game. The Flyers used the hot goaltending method to earn a 2-1 win against Carolina on the road earlier this month and they may need another one to salvage a week that certainly hasn’t been good so far.
