The YWT Podcast is back for another week and the Flyers finally made their return to the ice, losing in a shootout to the New York Rangers on Thursday with a shorthanded lineup. At the time of recording, the team was preparing for another game with a shorthanded lineup against the Boston Bruins on Sunday night.

This episode was recorded on Saturday night following the Flyers first overtime win against the Islanders this weekend, and the guys look at the two wins over the New Jersey Devils earlier in the week, review the Saturday win over the Islanders, talk jerseys, and look ahead to upcoming meetings against Boston and Washington.

This week, the guys ask what is wrong with the Flyers? They look at their struggles to adjust to injuries, their struggles playing tough hockey, and what help, if any, can be provided.

Two games into the season, the Flyers have two wins. The guys talk about the first two games, the return of Nolan Patrick and Oskar Lindblom to the lineup and the addition of Erik Gustafsson to the defensive group and power play. The guys also talk about Sean Couturier’s injury, Morgan Frost stepping into the lineup and how the Flyers can survive this time without their top forward.
