It took five weeks and Lane Johnson was able to play in four games before the final word regarding his pending suspension came through.
The result for the Eagles right tackle was as expected.
After having an appeal hearing, Johnson's 10-game suspension has been upheld, according to MMQB's Albert Breer.
Per lawyer Steve Zashin, Eagles OT Lane Johnson has been informed his 10-game suspension has been upheld.

The Eagles will now likely proceed as they had expected to at the start of the season, with Allen Barbre filling in at right tackle and rookie guard Isaac Seumalo stepping into Barbre's position on the offensive line, however Halapoulivaati Vaitai is also an option to simply take over the right tackle spot so Barbre can remain in his usual left guard position.
Johnson will be eligible to return for the Eagles Week 16 game against the New York Giants in December.
