Looks like Brayden Schenn's season isn't technically over just yet.

The Flyers forward will have a hearing with the NHL's Department of Player Safety for a "charging/illegal check to the head" of T.J. Oshie in Sunday's Game 6 loss to the Washington Capitals.

Schenn and Oshie dropped the gloves seconds into Game 5 on Friday, as Schenn was the subject of some questionable hits in the eyes of the Capitals players. TSN's Darren Dreger reported during Sunday's Game 6 that the Department of Player Safety had been eyeing Schenn's hits throughout the series.

Any suspension for Schenn would carry over to the start of next season.
